There’s no denying that Japan dominates the realm of jeans.

With an emphasis on superior materials and and innovative design, the country has taken the American workwear staple and elevated it into the world of high fashion.

To celebrate the quality craftsmanship of Japanese denim, Levi’s has finally moved to have a worldwide release of its much-anticipated Made in Japan collection, showcasing the artistry of various designers and producers across the Pacific.

Previously available only in Japan, this year’s collection highlights the Levi’s 513 straight fit and the Barstow Western Shirt. The denim giant tapped Okinawa-based batik artist Yogu, aka Yuichiro Koguro, to create the indigo-heavy line, which took inspiration from California’s Yosemite National Park.

Take a look at the collaborative range in the images below, and look out for its release on July 2—available at select retailers and online.
