Artist Francine Dressler has teamed up with her artistic offspring Madelyn Somers for an epic re-launching of some of Dressler’s original prints. The works being sold are pieces Dressler made while living and working in Los Angeles in 1979, when she was in her 20s. Her light-hearted illustrations are liberal and fun, usually featuring red lips, exposed nipples, and good times. The drawings are available as prints, posters, and apparel. So far, the re-launch has been very successful, with designer Rachel Antonoff picking up one of the illustrations, “I’ll Be Wearing a Red Carnation,” as an all over print for her Spring/Summer 2014 Collection.

Francine Dressler prints and apparel are available online and at The BULLETT Shop in Tribeca.
