Christopher Bailey presented a Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2015 collection that held even more of a particular connection to its British roots than past offerings. The show was led by a color palette of pale green and oxblood, wherein there were variations of ombré dying and tone on tone styling mixed in. Accentuating what will be colors you should consider working into your rotation were original illustrations and typograhic prints from vintage English book covers—fitting, since the entire collection was inspired by the celebrated novelist and travel writer Bruce Chatwin. Of course, there were also trenchcoats—a signature of Burberry's by now—made of colors and materials that only the vaunted British label could pull off. In short: Bailey delivered another success, one that may even make you reconsider that khaki trench.
