Every year around this time, it seems like everyone you know is either getting married or has been invited to attend a wedding. Wedding rings are arguably the most important item on the checklist for brides, and apparently some women have been going to extremes to make sure that the photo of their ring is absolutely perfect.

According to ELLE Magazine, there has been a recent spike in the number of brides-to-be that have gone to plastic surgeons to get "hand lifts" before their big day. "Social media has certainly led people to be more concerned about their appearance and how they present themselves," says dermatologist Ariel Ostad, "so if women can receive a quick procedure to make themselves feel better and younger, it’s something that they are willing to do." He says that the ten-minute Juvéderm treatment costs around $1,200 and lasts up to 9 months.

Ostra also told ELLE that patients have been coming in take care of their "tech neck...the wrinkles and fine lines in the neck caused by constantly looking down at a phone and computer."

Whatever it takes, right?
