New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick isn't exactly the most stylish coach in the NFL. Sure, he may alter his hoodies for game day, but the three-time Coach of the Year is known more for his aggressive coaching style and uncanny leadership.
So, when ESPN's Darren Rovell reported yesterday that Belichick's game-worn hoodie sold for $4,404 in an auction, the news shocked some people—especially since the same sweatshirt, in new condition and minus Belichick's custom initials and sweat stains, is worth far less in the Patriots' team store. Most likely, the hoodie will hang up somewhere in someone's sports memorabilia collection. We can't imagine anyone actually wearing it.
