There are some artists who see automobiles as vehicles for so much more than getting from place to place. Working with license plates, taillights, and at times whole cars, artists have used this medium to give new life to rundown automobiles. The recycled material is inflexible, heavy, and tough to manipulate, but still these artists have formed old cars into animals, flowers, and other more abstract sculptures.
