This year the Council of Fashion Designers of America will recognize a savvy mobile photographer with a Fashion Instagrammer of the Year Award. The eight nominees are @donalddrawbertson, @dapperlou, @aguynamedpatrick, @paridust, @troprouge, @amy_stone, @hokaytokay and @bessnyc4. Voting for these nominees can be done the on cfda.com or by “liking” images tagged #MyCFDA. The winner will be doing what he or she does best as the official Instagram correspondent for the CFDA Award show to take place June 2. All those filters, outfit grids, and street style shots might be paying off for people constantly snapping fashion flicks for the ‘gram.
