I'm going on vacation to Puerto Rico tomorrow and could really use a hat like this one from nonnative. Fun fact: I'm actually 1/4 Puerto Rican, but don't worry, I still always checked the "white" box when asked my ethnicity on standardized tests and shit, so you can go ahead and keep using that for ammo in the comments. Anyway, I would rock this hat with a white shirt and some flowy pants and flip-flops while I walk into town and try my best to show the locals that I'm not just some American tourist asshole who can't speak Spanish. I mean, I can't actually speak Spanish, but I feel like if I float a couple "quiero comprar zapatos nuevos" in there they might not shade me behind my back.
