Sometimes the stars align and brands choose winning combinations of talent to complete special projects. Axe and Target gave Paul Rodriguez the opportunity to do an "in-store brand takeover" of the Axe Kilo line of deodorants, anti-perspirants, and shower gels. P-Rod joined forces with tattoo legend Mr. Cartoon to design a label that blends skateboarding culture and a graphic style that screams LA.
The design duo sat down to brainstorm ideas and to consider how their professional backgrounds in skate and art related to one another and to the task at hand. Check out the Steve Berra directed video of the exchange below:
