Everyday objects get wacky in Athens-based architect Katerina Kamprani's The Uncomfortable series. Whereas most of today's most innovative designs are dreamed up to be functional and visually arresting, Kamprani's imagined objects are only the latter. It's safe to say, no one would want to use anything of these topsy-turvy products.

From the open-toed rain boots to the barbed goblets, these peculiar designs look uncomfortable and infuriating. On the other hand, when you imagine someone else trying to use any of these products, the mental picture is quite hilarious. Check out some of the curious items in Kamprani's Uncomfortable collection, and go to the artist's site to see the rest.
