Suigeneric NYC has partnered up with Swiss watchmaker Speake-Marin to unveil a series of watches and custom watch bands inspired by the Royal Air Force (RAF) and the British military.
For his namesake timepiece brand, founder Peter Speake-Marin channels his English heritage into his "Spirit" series of watches. The collaboration includes redesigns involving the Spirit MKII and the Spirit MKII DLC watches. The custom straps come in a RAF-inspired tri-color stripe, solid dark brown, and a black or green NATO camo. While the face of the watch is the focal point, you can't ignore that every strap is hand-sewn and hand-waxed by Suigeneric NYC for a craftsman feel. Each watch comes packed up for delivery in Speake-Marin's "simple-meets-rugged" Piccadilly case, with the caseback of every watch engraved with the Spirit motto: "Fight, Love & Persevere".
