Belgian street artist ROA is hard at work in Australia putting up his piece for the Public Forms Festival. Covering the entirety of a colossal façade, this gripping rendition of the most fearsome reptile is starkly cast against a blood-red background in vivid HD-like quality. Depicted using a black and white color scheme, this snake could almost be mistaken for the real thing—almost.

Australia is known for being home to the most deadly snakes in the world, but it’s unknown whether this bit of trivia inspired his latest work or whether the artist is simply partial to this slithering beast (see his work in Mexico last year).
