Reality isn't always pretty, but Oscar Santos somehow makes it look that way in all of his images. The San Francisco-based photographer, whose photos of his hometown we featured in 2012, has made his way to New York and will be opening a show at The Good Company on 97 Allen St.

Similar to his previous work, the man has captured mundane scenes and transformed them into something revealing and poignant for his latest show. "Photographs by Oscar Santos" opens next Friday, April 25 and will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. that night. If you like gritty photograph, you won't want to miss this.
