Pop icon Lady Gaga does everything to the max, so when she started renting the penthouse apartment near Central Park (allegedly for $22,000 a month) where Liza Minnelli and Tony Bennett used to live, we were not surprised. Gaga opened her doors recently to give MTV and Sway an exclusive tour, and the interior is pretty much what you'd expect.
Walking into the penthouse is like entering a rainforest, complete with leaf-covered walls and what appears to be turf on the floors. Gaga is in costume (obviously) and invites Sway to sip tea and see the spectacular view from her private balcony, the only outdoor space she has away from screaming fans and paparazzi. The bits of the apartment that we get to see are awesome, but Sway drinking tea is definitely the highlight.
