Though it's been 20 years since Kurt Cobain tragically took his own life, the Nirvana singer's legacy lives on in the band's music and present-day culture. To honor the god of grunge, photographer Jesse Frohman just unveiled a collection of pictures he took of the late singer and his band mates at an exhibition at the Morrison Hotel Gallery inside Dream Downtown Hotel. The photographs provide a look at Cobain from his last ever photo shoot.

'Twas an evening of debauchery inside the Meatpacking District hotel's permanent Morrison Hotel Gallery installation, which opened to the press last night. Classic Nirvana hits like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Heart Shaped Box" blared inside the exhibition space, as attendees drank it down and partied in a way that would have made Cobain proud.

Any true Nirvana fan should get himself to the exhibition before it closes May 6. In the meantime, check out some of the photos from the show above.
