Leather, canvas, and rubber have always been the foundation of sneaker construction, but cork has recently become the first choice for materials used. Amsterdam-based shoe brand Filling Pieces is the latest to adopt the familiar textile usually found as plug-stoppers for its latest round of high-end kicks.
Dubbed the Cork Pack, the collection contains three silhouettes from the shoe brand's line. Choose from the mid-cut sneaker, the mountain cut low top, or the highly detailed perforated sneakers. All are available now in Nordstrom’s curated Sneaker Project collections.
