Supreme x Comme Des Garcons Spring/Summer 2014 Is Seminal

None

It's a beautiful Monday morning, fellas (and the 2 or 3 ladies out there who read The Pinz). Supreme and Comme Des Garcons SHIRT have just unveiled their latest collaborative effort after not teaming up for the F/W 13 season. Most of the collection falls in line with the aesthetic of the previous offerings, with polka dots and reverse box logos acting as central motifs. However, for the first time, a distinct photo print is utilized throughout, which depicts legendary skateboarder Harold Hunter who tragically died of a cocaine-induced heart attack at the age of 31. He previously played the role of "Harold" in the 1995 film Kids, which, if you haven't seen by now, goddamn, bro. If there were ever a movie to call "seminal" in terms of NYC youth culture, this is it. SPOILER ALERT: NYC TEENS IN THE '90S WERE SUPER FUCKED UP AND RECKLESS. Nowadays, they just wait in line at Supreme with their moms and listen to Joey Bada$$. Supreme x Comme Des Garcons SHIRT S/S 14 drops March 13 in Supreme stores and at Dover Street Market. The Vans and New Era offerings will be available in June.
