You may never be able to look at Rick Ross without seeing Patrick Star again, thanks to a series of illustrations by the imaginative Zhi-Yun Zhang. The graphic designer from Lübeck, Germany envisioned today's pop culture icons as some of our favorite cartoon characters in Cartoon x Pop, and the results are pretty awesome.
Never before have we ever imagined Kanye West as Porky Pig or the Bawse as the most famous, dimwitted starfish under the sea. Though the pairings sound like unlikely combinations, Zhang was particular in his selection and blending of the two counterparts. If you click through all of Zhang's illustrations, it becomes immediately apparent why Zhang chose to portray, say, Pharrell Williams as the beloved Bart Simpson.
