In a sad attempt to stay current and reach the youth, PETA decided to take their message digital. The pro-animal, anti-everything else organization released this video online recently without a narrator or tons of text that no one was going to read anyway. Instead, emoji characters flash across the screen of a girl thinking about a dress, shoes, lipstick, and shoes. Her material desires change into the animals that are used to make or test the products with guns, syringes, and knives next to them. The video ends with a message made to resemble a text message bubble that reads, "the cruelty animals suffer for our vanity is beyond words," followed by directions on how you can donate.

The message they are trying to convey is pretty clear, but is it too much? Do people take PETA seriously anymore? Leave your thoughts below.
