MMVIII has roots going back to when designer Shun Kinoshita began spray painting tees as a 16-year-old. Now, the label is decidedly more sophisticated, and while the offerings are small, the aesthetic is finely tuned and the vision is hyper-focused and clearly dope. Kinoshita draws inspiration from Japanese culture and his experiences living in Tokyo, NYC, London, and Vancouver, and it shows.
