Stories of professional sports in the ‘60s and ‘70s always seemed like a wild good time. Little regulations were implemented, but the game was still pretty conservative. And if there was a team that did something wildly different, they definitely got noticed.

ESPN’s latest 30 for 30 Shorts covers the Marquette basketball team at a time when their coach Al McGuire encouraged individuality and creative atmosphere. For shit's sake, he even let star player Bo Player design the team's uniforms. The result was a team who wore the funkiest jerseys in sports. The most revolutionary at the time was the untucked look.
