Illustrator Sam Taylor recently got a bunch of his illustrator buddies together for a fun little fan art project that he shared over at Noisey. Inspired by his own habit of listening to Belle and Sebastian while he draws, Taylor decided to try his hand at creating art for the band in his own style. Illustrators Charlotte Mei, Bene Rohlmann, Cei Willis, Ellie Andrews, Hattie Stewart, Ilk, Paul Layzel, Sam Grubb, and others joined in, submitting art of their own inspired by musical acts including Drake, A Tribe Called Quest, Led Zeppelin, Skepta, Thin Lizzy, and Pantera.
We think it would be awesome if one of these bands saw adopted this artwork for a future project. The Drake illustration has a very Adventure Time meets Neverending Story vibe that we could definitely see on an album cover. To see the other pieces, head over to Noisey.
