Pharrell may have everyone singing along to his infectious "Happy" ditty (and hopefully everyone does feel like a room without a roof), but there's no such thing as too much happiness in the world. In another attempt to spread joy everywhere, Japanese design firm Studio Yumakano and an East Osaka factory Komuro Manufacturing Co. Ltd. have redesigned the typical screw so that it now bears a smiley face. A simple yet brilliant idea, Screw:) transforms the mundane, mass-produced product into something more cheerful that's sure to light up a person's day.
