Give artist Victor Nunes any inanimate object, trash included, and he’ll bring it to life for you. Nunes sees the potential for art and narrative everywhere around him—in used wine corks, discarded pencil shavings, and allergy medication packages. Once he selects an object to use, he composes a series of minimalist illustrations that incorporate the piece into a work of art that challenges the viewer to see the object in a new way.
