This Folk jacket is pretty futuristic looking, isn’t it? It's the hidden placket, quilting and color blocked pockets for those of you keeping score at home. I also like that this jacket has a Velcro panel over its zipper. Remember when almost all your gear had at least one piece of Velcro on it? Velcro pockets, Velcro straps, etc. Damn, the late '80s and early '90s were really a Velcro renaissance. And the more I think about this jacket, the more it vibes retro versus futuristic. It's gotta be that weird brown colorway. Remember when, like, all winter jackets were either brown or navy? Look back at your old photos, I guarantee at least 3 of all the coats you wore as a kid, years 0-10, were brown.
