More than just swim trunks.

Thaddeus O’Neil is a new designer that’s going to make you look at beachwear like you might not have seen before. The collection is inspired by hobos of the sea, but this isn’t on some “derelicte” type nonsense. Instead, the line features wearable garments—all hand-made in NYC and Japan—that can expand your beach bum outfits to more than just swimming trunks and tank tops.

The collection includes blazers, button-downs, trousers, sweatpants, a funky looking anorak-style parka, and of course some trunk options. Like anything inspired by the sun and surf, the are a few bright colors, there are plenty of patterns (including nautical stripes), and the fit is very relaxed. Overall, it’s a fun vibe throughout that will get you through this snowy day.

For those of you living in warmer climates, specifically Los Angeles, the line will be launched at a pop-up hosted by the Ron Herman shop. Stop by and you can meet the designer himself. Details can be found on the flyer below.
