Now that the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics are underway, Russia's "gay propaganda" law is being discussed more frequently in the news as athletes struggle with their decisions to support an event in a country with such archaic legislation.

In response to the law, an organization known as Pride Propaganda repurposed Soviet propaganda posters to create their own messages of acceptance and support for the LGBTQ community. The posters were altered to include the rainbow flag and messages like "A father should be proud" and "Show pride in the workplace," with the hashtag #PridePropaganda. Head over to their website here to see more of the posters and to show your support.
