For All Mankind: NASA Photographs 1964-1983,” a new exhibition at London’s Breese Little gallery, is a collection of over 100 vintage space photographs taken during the first two decades of space exploration. The photos are a nostalgic reminder of the noble quest America embarked on in search of knowledge and scientific discovery. These pictures were the first of their kind, the first to put into vivid imagery the massive expanse that exists beyond the scope of our vision. The showcase includes iconic shots such as the launching of the last Apollo 17 lunar mission, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin frolicking around on the moon, and the first image of Earth as seen from space.

The exhibition runs from Jan. 22 through Feb. 22, 2014.
