When officials asked local artist Tre Reising to create a work of art for the Indianapolis International Airport, they expected it to be inspired by hip-hop. Instead, Reising presented large, colorful letters that spelled out "#Belieb."

The Justin Bieber homage didn't charm the airport, and they rejected the piece. Reising claims he understands why but thought travellers would like to share his work on social media, giving it the same viral capacity as the Biebs himself. He will still receive the $500 even though his work was rejected.

With all the trouble that Justin Bieber's been getting into recently, we're not surprised that the people in charge of IND Airport aren't #beliebers.
