Emma Hack, most known for her body illustration work in the music video for Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," is set to open a solo retrospective at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery in New York. The Australian artist will showcase photographs of her painted subjects, and she will also paint a subject live in the gallery, a process that usually takes between 8 and 15 hours to complete. "Emma Hack: Undercover" is reminiscent of the work of Liu Bolin, save for the fact that Bolin uses himself as the subject and usually "disappears" in existing environments.

The exhibition opens on February 19 and runs through March 12. For more info, visit the Rebecca Hossack Gallery website.
