Argentinian Artist Elian Gives a Lesson in Abstract Layering With This Mural in Cordoba

There are literally layers to this.

On a little house in Cordoba, Argentina, Elian crafted this colorful Imperfect Circle mural that layers 2D shapes to create depth. The colors blend as if they have actually been mixed on the surface of the building. Reds and blues become black, and blues and yellows form greens, a painting technique that the artist uses in all of his mural work (check out an earlier piece from the Living Walls Atlanta festival here).

There is one shape that appears to be less abstract than the others, though we are not sure what it is. For more of Elian's work, check out elianelian.com.ar.
