There isn't much American artist Dan Graham hasn't done. Since he began his career in 1964, Graham has produced films, created large-scale installations, sketched conceptual drawings, among many other projects. Best known for his architectural projects and glass pavilions, however, Graham has recently been slated as the next artist to create the Metropolitan Museum of Art's roof-garden installation.
Announced late last week, Graham will collaborate with Swiss landscape architect Günther Vogt to design and build a steel-and-glass pavilion, to be finished April 29. Though there are no images of the design or work in progress, you can get an idea of what Graham's finished project will look like from his past work, pictured above. Hopefully by April, the weather will be more accommodating for art enthusiasts in New York.
