Ever since Yves Saint Laurent dressed Mick and Bianca Jagger for their wedding in 1971, the label has always been tied to some of the biggest names in music. This tradition was revived in 2013 with the launch of the Saint Laurent Music Project, an endeavor that has featured some of the biggest musical names in its campaigns, shows, and photography. So far, talent including Daft Punk, Beck, Marilyn Manson, and B.B. King have partnered up, but the fashion house is about to put you on to someone new.
For its latest campaign, SLP tapped Curtis Harding, an Atlanta songwriter, singer, and member of garage soul band Night Sun. Hear some of of his jams over at ysl.com, where you're treated to his soulful sound and the wonderful sights of a nude Grace Hartzel prancing about to Harding's "Next Time." Harding's got the effortless cool that's a requirement of all rockstars, and it's a swagger that's only expounded once he's dipped in all-SLP-everything.
