Pigalle's fall/winter 2014 collection was one of the most talked-about shows during Paris Fashion Week. The secretive brand prefers to focus on the clothing and its mission to re-work classics while progressing the next-level streetwear of its hometown than to build hype. That being said, these behind-the-scenes photos provide an intimate look at the full collection, as well as the friends and family of the brand designed by Stephane Ashpool.
The show began with a short film documenting scenes from the Pigalle neighborhood of Paris. The actors throughout wore looks from the fall/winter 2014 collection. When the curtain rose, the diverse group that comprises the Pigalle fam all walked out wearing looks that reference old-school gangsters of the '20s, athletic apparel, and a fusion of modern streetwear with classic staples. Take a look below to watch the Pigalle team in action, both chilling and enjoying themselves backstage and presenting the gear that is very quickly becoming a signature aesthetic of both Pigalle and of the Parisian streets.
