Everyone deals with those troubling adolescent years of teeny-bopper-dom in different ways, but Lissy Elle’s escape proved to be so exhilarating and rewarding that she’s sticking with it, even though she’s reached the ripe old age of 18.

Elle began experimenting with photography as a creative outlet when she was a meager 13 years of age, and was hooked immediately. She saved her money to purchase a Nikon 50mm 1.8 lens. She began exploring abandoned houses and re-arranging her bedroom furniture, and later, tying apples to trees, cutting out thousands of paper stars, and experimenting with levitation. Her photos reveal a free and whimsical mind, one not constrained by laws of any sort.
