French street artist Invader has been holed up in Anzere, a quaint village in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. Known for his clever tiled pieces that have challenge the boundaries of street art, Invader is taking his work to new heights. We'd say it must be quite a change from the street artist's recent installations in New York, but the onset of the polar vortex makes us think otherwise.
Invader's latest pieces have been spotted 2,362 meters in the air, atop the Swiss Alps. The artist has sprinkled the resort destination with a number of alpine-themed mosaics, one of which is an homage to the iconic “Slalom” Nintendo video game.
