At Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles, a group of talented artists are currently showing works inspired by five filmmakers with a knack for world building. "Imagined Worlds" reflects on the masterpieces by Stanley Kubrick, Guillermo del Toro, Ridley Scott, David Lynch, and Terry Gilliam, with art by Cuyler Smith, Juan Hugo Martinez, James Rheem Davis, Paul Shipper, Trev Murphy, Phillip Ellering, Adam Rabalais, Dan Mumford, Adam Juresko, Sam Gilbey, Edward Tuckwell, Florey, and many others.

Films including The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Hellboy, A Clockwork Orange, Alien, Spartacus, Blade Runner, and The Devil's Backbone are interpreted in unique and interesting ways, many of them making several appearances in the show. The show began on January 17 and closes on February 2, but you can also grab available prints on HCG's website if you can't make it.
