Photographer Tanya Marcuse's latest work reveals that there is indeed something quite beautiful in the dead. While it may appear as if Marcuse simply points and shoots at sights she's stumbled upon, her images of wilting flowers and decaying fruit are actually planned and carefully composed. The photographer actually envisions a set up, collecting rotting pomegranates and dead leaves to arrange and document in her home near Hudson Valley, New York. Click through to see some of her stunning images, now on view at the Julie Saul Galleryuntil Feb. 22.
