Born x Raised is the new streetwear brand on the block to keep an eye on this year. Though it’s been around since 2012, its profile grew tremendously as soon as Union put it on its shelves last season. (When the Los Angeles based shop puts someone on, many tend to pay attention.)
The brand itself is Cali-based and pulls inspiration from gang life, b-boy crews, and old-fashioned streetwear styles. Looking at the designs you can easily mistake it for something that was born in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but those were exactly the times designer Spanto grew up in.
