Art Basel Hong Kong is less than four months away, and we could not be more stoked, especially considering the fact that the art fair has just released its list of galleries. Allow us to give you the details: the Hong Kong fair will take place from Thursday, May 15 to Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the massive Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
Partnered with UBS, Art Basel Hong Kong will feature 245 galleries from 39 countries around the world. The selection includes 24 galleries that have exhibition spaces in Hong Kong, so attendees can expect to see some of the area's best art. In addition, the art fair will also spotlight up-and-coming artists from across the globe in its Discoveries section, and it will include a Film section curated by the acclaimed Li Zhenhua, artist and founder-director of the Beijing Art Lab.
