This week, the world lost one of the greatest humans that ever lived, Nelson Mandela. Unsurprisingly, there were lots of people online, young and old, who had no clue who he was. Black History Month is a joke in many schools around the country and Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Harriet Tubman are the only names that enter the curriculum. Black in History provides a very necessary public service, "curating the names of influential Black Americans, past & present, and giving them the recognition they deserve. Because Black History is American History."
