Few things light up a room, or a wall, or an entire museum space, like a Tracey Emin piece. Her messages in neon are of intense love, equally intense heartbreak, or are highly, sometimes uncomfortably sexual.

At the opening event (sponsored by Vanity Fair) for MOCA North Miami's "Angel Without You," guests took many selfies while enjoying the humor and magic of her 60 works spanning 20 years, including a giant, new white rose piece in the garden. As the first American museum show dedicated to her work, curated by Bonnie Clearwater, it felt just as much like opening Tracey's diary as it did opening ours.

View the exhibition until March 9, 2013.
