Menswear saw a definite turn in formalities in 2013. Like, do neckties still exist? Was the #1 search term "long tunic" or "leather jogging pants?" Whatever the case may be, even high-end fashion houses dabbled in a more street-forward approach to pieces in their collection for the year. And a large part of that are designer sneakers.
While brands like Nike and Jordan still rule the casual sneaker business, menswear-centric designers are giving them a run for their money by taking more risks with design, manufacturing with a little more detail and using materials the mainstream brands only dream of using in their lifestyle brands.
