If you’re at a lack of interesting New Years Eve plans tonight, conceptual Internet artist Ryder Ripps has gotten together a last-minute New Years Eve countdown rave, flashmob-style, for 11:30 p.m. tonight. The event, which came together in about a day, using only twitter, will take place at the Duane Reade Pharmacy at 52 East 14th Street. We’re not sure exactly what’s going down, but it’s bound to be interesting, especially when the artist known as Pictureplane is in charge of tunes.
If only we could all mobilize as easily as this:
