NADA Miami Beach is a welcome change from the big name artists and blue chip galleries filling up the Miami Convention Center for Art Basel Miami Beach. NADA, which stands for New Art Dealers Alliance, is a space for lesser-known artists and smaller galleries. Because of this, NADA includes more experimental works that are at times much more exciting than what's on view at the bigger fairs.

Besides showing work from different galleries, this year NADA is exhibiting a booth from BAM selling contemporary prints, as well as booths by Artsy and American Apparel. Phaidon has a booth celebrating their new book Art Cities of the Future: 21st Century Avant-Gardes, where they picked San Juan, Puerto Rico of one of the cities with the most vibrant art scenes. Also outside the fair sits Metal Fatigue Music, a Toyota Previa blasting metal music that will not hurt your ears but will vibrate your body. We walked through NADA yesterday and picked the best booths at the event. Here's The 10 Coolest Booths at NADA Art Fair 2013.

NADA runs until Sunday, Dec. 8 and opens daily at 11 a.m. If you can't make it to the fair, check out a collection of the works on view over at Artsy.

JTT is exhibiting trippy video works by Borna Sammak. The colored graphics are mesmerizing and loop in a matter of minutes. They are also surrounded by colorful wires, making them more sculptural than flat videos. Don't expect to walk home with one, however. As of yesterday, only one piece was left unsold.
