Ivan Cash, the videographer behind the “Last Photo” series, posted a new installment in his project that makes us feel more normal and comfortable with the amount of photos we take on our phones. Cash finally made his way to New York to accost strangers on the street and interrogate them about the last photo taken on their phones. If you’re not familiar with the series, you’ll be happy to know how embarrassing and wonderful every random person’s photos can be. The results of the video are alternately touching, hilarious, and ridiculous. One of the most satisfying things about this project is people actually discovering their own lives; in a world where we almost unthinkingly create new media constantly, rediscovering how and who we are with a new person can be as simple as an interrogation like this.
