It's ok if you let your inner-child get excited about this because it's awesome. For his first solo show in the United States, Pawel Althamer is going all out by inviting friends and visitors to paint the walls of the New Museum's fourth floor, revisting the installation piece he displayed at the 7th Berlin Biennial.
Althamer's installation will be in good company, considering the space ship that will be built a floor above. The lively exhibition will also feature live musicians outside. The exhibition entitled "The Neighbors" opens on February 12 so you may want to mark your calendar now and get your sketchbook ready.
