If you’ve ever imagined that one day your sketches could come to life, in whatever form that may take, it seems Jinil Park has figured out a way to beat you to it. Using a complex series of wire, the Korean designer took inspiration directly from the pages of a sketchbook to create the “Drawing Furniture” series. While the concept seems like a simple one, the execution is anything but, especially when these sketchy looks materialize as real-life objects from the pages of Park’s imagination. Certainly preliminary sketches are a vital part of any designer’s repertoire; however, the initial concepts are rarely the ends, as well as the means.
