If there’s one thing we’ve learned about tech startups, it’s that their offices are often way cooler than we could ever hope our apartments to be. But, to be fair, Instagram is far from a startup at this point, having sold for a cool billion dollars last year. Which helps to explain why the San Francisco headquarters of the photo-sharing app is just so incredibly well outfitted. It looks more like a retro cabin than it does a place of business, full of natural wood accents, vintage cameras, sleek and streamlined meeting spaces, and a liquor cabinet of whiskeys that appear to have been created specifically for the company. The interior design firm Geremia Design handled the curation of the space, using leather, metallic surfaces, and utilizing natural light to create a space both warm and severe—forward thinking without being intimidating.
