Being a fashion intern means you'll (probably) be working in the closet and working directly with the clothes pulled for shoots and editorial pages in a magazine. Which also means you're going to need to steam a few shirts here and there. Which then also means a steamer will be your BFF for the semester you're there. So, please, learn how to use one of these before you apply for an internship. You don't know how many interns have ruined expensive samples. (We recommend using a sock over the steamer head to stop leaking. Unfortunately, we learned the hard way.)
